TIME WARNER OCCUPIES NEW BUILDING, ADDS JOBS

January 2009 - Time Warner Cable occupied its recently constructed 42,000 square-feet customer service call center off of Northpointe Drive in Zanesville, Ohio. The facility is expected to bring more than 160 new jobs to the area.

Kathy Chamberlain, vice president of Customer Care for Time Warner Cable Mid-Ohio Division, said that the facility provides the space needed to handle increased call volume due to company growth.

“The opportunity to build a new, state-of-the art facility in Zanesville is very exciting for Time Warner Cable and brings with it our commitment to positively impact the economic growth and success of the area,” Chamberlain said. “We are thrilled to bring a $5 million investment to the community as a result of this project.”

The custom-built, brick facility was developed by the Eden Group in an office park at the intersection of NorthPointe Drive and James Court.  State and local economic development incentives helped to make the project possible.  Total employment at the facility is expected to reach 350 people.
